There are documents that are required by RDSC to resolve the rental dispute cases.  The documents required are the name of the plaintiff, current address of plaintiff, fact about the dispute, original tenancy contract; notarize power of attorney and the copies of the cheques that were given to the landlord. In case the tenant is the plaintiff, and the landlord does not provide the original tenancy contract; the plaintiff is allowed to fax the request the homeowner. The tenant is also required to fax the receipt to RDSC.

There are fees involved with the rental dispute. The plaintiff is required to pay 3.5% of the annual rent. There are also other fees for the tenant such as depositing the rent with the RDSC and for gifting real estate.
